Topcon's PI-3000 is a powerful yet easy to use photogrammetry software tool to generate very accurate 3D models from photographs taken with any digital camera. It can be used for both close range and aerial surveys to produce surface TIN models, ortho photos or 3D linework. Users include architects, industrial designers, forensic and accident investigation specialists, heritage organisations, geologists and many more people who need rapid 3D surface models for a fraction of the cost of laser scanning. TerraDat are exclusive authorised dealers for the PI-3000 software and back this up with full training and technical support. We can also advise on imaging hardware solutions and offer a full photogrammetry service as well.

Case Study: Land Survey of Alaskan Village
A handy combination of training for a new customer and acquisition of a live job was carried out by TerraDat staff and Tananachiefs Conference at the remote Native Indian town of Huslia in Alaska. The aim of the work was to use PI-3000 photogrammetry to produce an ortho photo of the settlement that could be then used as a basis for marking out individual plot boundaries of land owners. The photos acquired with a Canon EOS 5D (8 pairs) were modeled using PI-3000 to produce excellent results. Total processing time - 1/2 day.
